Lensbaby {July 2013}

Time for another Clickinmom Lensbaby post.  Each month a group of Clickinmoms members feature the use of a Lensbaby for on of our blog posts. This month I had grand dreams of a stylized shoot involving a young “prince” playing on the edge of the water. It was going to be serene and whimsical.   I had the props, the location, and the weather on my side.  I had everything going for me except the co-operation of my prince.  Instead of photographing my prefect scene, I chased a 4 year old around the edge of a river for an hour and gave up my plan when he decided he wanted to be act like a puppy.  Epic failure.  Back-up plan: The US Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven, MI. It rained the only day I was able to attend before this post.  Failure #2 for the month.

So I give you another view of my new back yard.  Sorry for repetitive themes, but at least I have new flowers blooming.  And at least the flowers cooperated and didn’t act like puppies.

I did manage a few photos from my first stylized photo attempt. Can you spot the puppy? He is pulling on his leash.
