What to Wear Wednesday – Senior Boho Style {Toledo OH Senior Photographer}

The number one question asked of me after booking a session is “what should I/we wear?” Obviously, you should wear something you are comfortable in and represents you. If you area jeans, t-shirt, and cowboy boots kind of person, now is not the time suddenly wear a silk dress.  You will look back on your photos and not see yourself. That doesn’t mean you can’t dress up.  You could wear an easy cotton dress, jean jacket, and keep your cowboy boots.  Your wardrobe will look polished, but still represent you.

In an effort to help with the dreaded “what to wear?” fear of all clients, I am going to start a what to wear Wednesday series.  It may not go up every Wednesday, but I hope to update at least a few times each season.  I will try to show current styles and trends for different types of sessions.  I know families, seniors, recently engaged couples, and moms-to-be are always looking for wardrobe inspiration.

We will start the series with a great trend for Seniors: Boho.  Why do I love this style? It’s so easy and relaxed looking. You can dress it up or down.  We can take the look downtown, to the beach, or a field and still capture a beautiful, easy look.  It is generally a style that can look great on any body type.  You can dress it up with metallic accessories, or dress it down with cowboy boots.  It has something for everyone: lace, floral prints, fringe, and fur.
