Devon | 1 year old + Cake Smash | Toledo, OH Child Photographer

Little Devon- my first of many babies from last winter to return for their one year photos. I have followed him all year and it has been so fun to watch him grow with each milestone session.  This time he turns one and was just kind of “meh” about seeing me.  Maybe it was the new place, maybe it was the lights, or maybe he is just a toddler that wants to be on the move.  His current loves are Mickey Mouse and putting things in his mouth.

We fit a fun cake smash in at the end of his one year portraits.  For anyone who doesn’t know- cake smashes are hit and miss as far as the child liking the cake. Some kids hate it.  His brother hated the cake two years ago.  Devon was one of the lucky kids who just plowed in with real gusto.  You can tell his love of sugar as you scroll through.  The only tears came when he realized it was over.
