I love documenting our days and I don’t do it as frequently as I like.  Sometimes client work takes over my weeks and before I know it, a month has flown by and I forgot to take pictures of my own family. It happens more often than I like to admit. This summer I joined in with photographers across the country to document our days in the 100 days of summer project.  The goal is to take one photo every day for 100 days.  At the end we should all have beautiful memories of our summers.  I’m doing the best I can and captured 20 days this month.  That’s a big improvement for me. Today I am excited to share 10 of my favorites from the last month.

I met Ava in April for a stylized princess photo shoot at the Toledo Botanical Gardens. She wore a gorgeous purple dress from the studio closet for the shoot.  The early spring surprised us with lots of greens and blooming azaleas.  Ava was a treasure to photograph.  I wanted to have her twirl and run for the whole hour.  She made her dress come to life.
