Jaw drops. That’s what happened when the Busse family climbed out of their car dressed in the most impeccable winter formal attire. These outfits make my heart soar. Four beautiful and dapper young kids. Their wardrobe made this shoot fun. The girls could skip and twirl. The boys could show off their vests and ties. And I loved the juxtaposition of the kids having a snowball fight while wearing such grown up clothes. The whole shoot was fun and will stick in my memory for a long time.

Confession time. Senior snow sessions are my favorite. I know- they are cold, wet, and a little awkward when trying to find a place to sit. However, the colors are always vibrant. Gorgeous hues of golds and greens. The soft snow framing the scene. It is unique amongst senior images in the Toledo area. Just my favorite. Katie is one of my class of 2018 senior reps. She received a complimentary session on possibly the warmest day in December as part of her rep experience. I love the images we captured together.

What do you do when you find yourself in the most gorgeous winter forrest, snow falling slowly, and stuck in a cabin with three area seniors? You take photos. At a normal family function I rounded up the girls and politely demanded we go outside for 5 minutes. How can you say no when it’s this gorgeous out? Well, how can you say no to a demand?

I am so excited to share that Alexis Fischer Photography helped out Holiday Angels Toledo with their Easter 2018 event. We photographed families with the big eared man himself- the Easter Bunny. This was a free community event hosted by one of my favorite groups. Kids could come play some free games, bring canned goods in exchange for raffle tickets, participate in an Easter egg hunt, meet Spider-man, a princess, and get cozy with a horse. It was a fun afternoon.

Class of 2019- it’s your turn! It’s hard to imagine now, but your senior year is almost here. And with it comes your senior photos. Alexis Fischer Photography is accepting applications for Team 19 – Class of 2019 senior reps. Becoming a senior rep is a fun experience that includes a few model shoots and allows you to help your parents save a little on the bottom line. Your senior photos will feel unique and hopefully represent you as an individual. The goal of every senior session is to make you feel comfortable throughout the shoot and even laugh a little bit.
Senior reps are accepted for schools within 25 miles of Toledo, OH or Monroe, MI. Your only job as a rep is to show off your photos and talk about the experience. Did you love it? Tell your friends. It’s that easy. Referrals are a bonus and can earn you free stuff. They are never required.
The Perks
– Participation in multiple model shoots. Reps receive 5-7 digital images from each shoot she or he participates in.
Sunday May 20th at Toledo Botanical Gardens (spring florals)
Tuesday June 19th at Sterling State Park (beach photos)
Thursday July 19th Downtown Toledo
TBD January/February winter shoot if weather permits
Senior reps also receive:
-$40% off any senior package booked before September 9, 2018 or 20% off any senior package booked between September 10 -December 1, 2018. See session details here.
-Referral bonuses: Choices of gift cards to your favorite places, additional digital images, or print products.
The Requirements
-Must be a member of the class of 2019
-Must attend a school within in 25 miles of Toledo, OH or Monroe, MI.
-Must attend one Team19 shoot to be eligible for the 40% or 20% savings on a full senior session.
-Must rep exclusively for Alexis Fischer Photography for the remainder of 2018.
